What level of first aid
training do I need?

The level of training you need can be determined by answering the following three questions;

  1. Does my school or workplace require a specific level of training?
  2. Does my governing body require a specific level of training?
  3. What types of emergencies do I want to be prepared to respond to?

Answering these questions will help best determine if you want or need Standard, Emergency, or CPR-only training. We always recommend Standard First Aid with CPR Level C which meets most school and workplace requirements.

Health Care Providers (HCP) need to take Basic Life Support (BLS). BLS is a stand-alone course and cannot be run in conjunction with Standard or Emergency First Aid courses.
